Frequently asked questions

What does the Terras membership include?

image

Tailored onboarding and curated introductions, access to the member directory and platform, bi-weekly member calls with senior leaders, quarterly in-person meetups in London, New York, San Francisco, Washington DC and other cities, monthly Board Office Hours with Terras Advisory Board members, thought leadership opportunities through Terras publications and content, 15% discount and priority access to all Terras events, and public affiliation with Terras on our website and channels.

How much does membership cost?

image

€2,850 per year. Many members are reimbursed through leadership, sustainability, or development budgets. We can provide invoices or supporting documents if needed.

How do I join?

image

Membership is by invitation only. You can apply through our website or be referred by an existing member or Advisory Board member.

Can I experience Terras before committing to a membership?

image

Yes. Before deciding to join, you are welcome to attend a member call or an in-person meetup as our guest. This way, you can experience the community first-hand and decide if Terras is the right fit for you.

What is the Terras Fellowship?

image

The Terras Fellowship is designed to support the next generation of sustainability leaders. When a senior leader joins as a member, they can nominate a junior colleague to join as a Terras Fellow at no additional cost. Fellows get access to the same network and programming, helping them grow alongside experienced peers.

What is the time commitment?

image

Participation is flexible. Member calls, meetups, and events are all optional. You engage as much or as little as your schedule allows. Members receive priority access and discounted rates to all Terras events, but attendance is not required.

Is the fee refundable?

image

No. Once you join, we begin onboarding, preparing introductions, and reserving your place in member programming immediately. Because this work starts right away, the fee is non-refundable.

Can I transfer my membership to a colleague?

image

Please contact us to discuss your options. Transfers may be possible on a case-by-case basis.

Can my company refund or reimburse the membership?

image

Yes. Many members are reimbursed through leadership, sustainability, or development budgets. We can provide invoices or supporting documents if needed.

What if I can't attend every call?

image

Terras is designed for busy senior leaders. You don't need to attend every call for the membership to be valuable. The network compounds over time, not per session. That said, we don't record calls precisely because presence is the value proposition. The members who show up shape the conversation, and the conversations shape the network.

Why only 200 members?

image

System change requires the right people in direct conversation. Not thousands of passive members, but 200 leaders who actively shape sustainability strategy across industries, finance, and policy globally. At 200, every member has direct access to peers across dozens of sectors who operate like a personal advisory board. Conversations carry context. Trust compounds. We select for leaders driving cross-sector transformation, energy transition, and sustainable finance, and we stop when the network is complete. Larger networks trade depth for reach. Terras does not.

Terras Membership

Whether through an event or a membership, Terras is where senior leaders find the frameworks, language, and relationships to move faster.
